- The Grief Recovery Handbook®

In Grief Recovery Method® programs there is no judgment, no comparing of losses and a commitment to absolute confidentiality in order to create a safe and supportive atmosphere for participants to work through their grief.

  • Group Program

    An eight week program

    Did a death, divorce, or end of a romantic relationship cause it? Or was it caused by any of the forty other losses that a person might experience such as loss of health, moving, pet loss, or a change in your career? Regardless of the cause, you know how you feel and it probably isn't good. In a Grief Recovery support group you will be given specific tools to help you recover from loss and ultimately lead a happier life.

  • One-On-One Program

    A seven week program

    For those who are not able to join a Grief Recovery Method® group program or prefer a more flexible schedule, I offer the Grief Recovery Method® one-on-one program. You will be given the same tools for working through your grief as in the group program.

  • When Children Grieve

    A six week program for parents/guardians

    This program provides instruction, information and tools for parents to help their grieving children move beyond loss.

Will time eventually heal my pain?

How many times have we heard these phrases? Your heart's been hurting for a long time now and you wonder, "Will time ever heal my pain? When will this ache go away?"

The idea that time on its own, without taking any actions, will eventually heal our pain is a very sad myth. It has been passed down from generation to generation for years, yet, it's just not true. We all know too many people whose hearts remain broken because they are waiting for time to heal them.


Time itself does not heal; it is what you do within time that will help you complete the pain caused by loss.
